Background

Ida is currently writing her Master Thesis in partnership with PRIO. From a discourse analytic approach, she will look at how politicians in government construct meaning around the term 'refugee' after Europe´s "migration crisis" in 2015, and how, and in what way, this categorisation can function as preparatory steps toward legitimating restrictive policies.
