Somaliland: Sweet Smelling Wind Before the Rain (Somali)

Sweet Smelling Wind Before the Rain: The Uffo Struggle for Justice tells the story of a group of heroic professionals in Somaliland during the war in the 1980s.

With researchers from the Peace Research Institute Oslo, we travelled to Hargeisa in 2018 to conduct in-depth interviews with members of the UFFO group. After developing a script from these recorded conversations, we illustrated an animation based on their lives and experiences.
