I am interested in how we can learn from quantitative data in peace and conflict research. Recurrent themes in my research are the modeling of social phenomena, causal inference, forecasting and improving data quality and data infrastructure. Substantively, I have been working in the intersections between climate, natural disasters, development, and armed conflict.
